Methods of Victory (Defined):

K.O. (Knockout):
The GMC observes a 3 knockdown rule. A knockdown will be counted if one person goes down from the impact of a blow. A competitor will be awarded the victory if their opponent is unable to respond within:
 G-3: 5 counts
 G-2: 10 counts
 G-1: 10 counts

T.K.O. (Technical Knock Out):
A T.K.O. is registered when the referee deems that one fighter is receiving continuous blows. In the G-3 category, a T.K.O. will be called if a fighter is receiving blows continuously for 5 seconds or longer. In the G-2 and G-1 category, the referee will call a T.K.O. if they feel that the fighter receiving the blows is in danger of excessive injury. A T.K.O. will also be called if the cornermen of a fighter throws a towel into the ring.

Standing 8-Count:
A standing 8-count will be started while a fighter is still on his feet, and only if the referee deems that the fighter has been subject to excessive damage by blows from the opponent.

Decision:
G-3:
The G-3 level is based around a 15-point system. These points are awarded for legal techniques within the match. The first person to reach 15 points will be declared the winner. If the match has gone the distance with no contestant reaching 15 points, the contestant who has accumulated the most points will be declared the winner.

Point System Breakdown (G-3 level):
Punch: 1 point
Kick: 2 points
Kick to the head: 3 points

G-2 and G-1:
When a match exceeds the time limit of a round, the judges will score the fighters based on a 10-point system.
1 point if the fighter has been dominant in the round
2 points if the fighter scored a knockdown or standing 8-count against their opponent. (A second
knockdown doesn't count within the same round)
The points will be totaled and the fighter with the most points will be awarded the victory. If the fighters receive the same amount of points, the judges will call a draw.

  Unanimous Decision:
All 3 judges award a victory to the same fighter.

  Majority Decision:
A majority decision occurs when two judges award a decision to one fighter, and the other judge awards
a draw. Also when two judges award a draw, and the other judge awards a decision to a fighter.

  Split Decision:
A split decision occurs when two judges award a decision to one fighter, and the other judge awards a
  decision to the other fighter.

  Draw:
A draw occurs if all three judges award a draw, or if one judge awards a decision to one fighter, the
second judge awards a decision to the other fighter, and the third judge awards a draw.
